At our last Council meeting, Grace accepted the invitation to host a vicar this coming August through September. The vicar assigned to us is Seminarian David Pfeiffer, son of ILC President, John Pfeiffer. We will be working out some of the arrangements of his vicarage in the coming weeks. David is in his second year at Immanuel Lutheran Seminary in Eau Claire, WI. He is married to Deana nee Johannes. They have two children, Samuel (2) and Joshua (8 months). We pray that David’s vicarage at Grace will be a mutual blessing!
Our midweek Lenten services will begin next Wednesday, February 17. There will be six services at 7 pm, preceded by the Lenten soup suppers at 6 pm. The services will focus on the profound love demonstrated by our Savior through His sufferings and death.

The Seventh Annual Tourney Band will play at this year’s CLC Grade school Basketball Tournament in Eau Claire, WI on Saturday, March 13. We will be practicing for an hour in the morning and performing that same day around noon. This group is open to CLC members in grades 5-8. Students do not have to play basketball to a be a part of the band. In the past we’ve had between 30 and 40 players, playing 5-6 songs. It is a great experience playing in a group this large, and it’s a super opportunity to meet others in the CLC that enjoy band! If you’ve never tried it, please consider doing so this year! Music can be found on the CLC Tournament website-following the band
